Who is Jessica Alba
Jessica was born in Pomona, California, on April 28, 1981. Her father was in
the Air Force and the family moved around a lot before settling in Southern
California when Jessica was nine. Intrigued with
the idea of becoming an actress from an early age, she began taking acting
classes at the age of twelve and was soon after signed by an agent. This was
quickly followed by her feature film debut in 1994 in the comedy Camp
Nowhere. This led to several national TV commercials and feature roles in
independent films.
Her first recurring role came in 1994 as Jessica in three episodes of the
Nickelodeon comedy series The Secret World of Alex Mack. Next was the role
of Maya in the TV series Flipper, and the film Venus Rising in which she
played Young Eve. In the late 90s she appeared in episodes of Brooklyn
South, Beverly Hills, 90210 and the Love Boat: The Next Wave, as well as
feature films Never Been Kissed and Idle Hands. 2000 was a big year for her
as she landed the lead role in Dark Angel, which lead to a-list roles in
Fantastic Four, Sin City, Into the Blue, and Ten.
